Building Better Opportunities is a specialist service for people from Black and Ethnic Minority communities with common mental health conditions.
IPS is an effective evidence based approach which supports people’s efforts to achieve steady meaningful employment. Anyone with a mental health issue who is motivated to work, no matter how far from the workplace, can access support available in their area.
EACH will be coordinating outreach and engagement services to residents in Barnet, Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon and Hounslow.
EACH’s BME Engagement workers will be part of a team of fully trained Employment Specialists based across North and West London; able to offer over 2,000 North and West Londoners tailored support to assist with the practical steps needed to find work, as well as continued support to manage the transition to employment.
The service is a complimentary service delivered locally within NHS IAPT and Job Centre environments, and is funded by Big Lottery Fund and the European Social Fund.
You can register your interest in the Building Better Opportunities service by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or call 020 8579 4529.
