Operation PAX - EACH Counselling & Support

POSTED: 04th September 2017 03:29pm

Operation PAX took place on 22nd August 2017, from 12pm – 4pm on Market Square outside the Brent Civic Centre.

This was an informative event to specifically educate, engage, and divert at risk groups from Knife Crime, Child Sexual Exploitation, Drugs & Alcohol issues, Gangs,  and offering Crime Prevention advice ahead of the Notting Hill Carnival.

EACH were proud to be a part of Operation PAX, with our Brent Youth Offending team engaging and informing the public about the impacts of crime and drug/alcohol misuse among the young people of Brent.

Our Employment and Education team (Project STRIDE) also participated on the day increasing awareness of substance misuse and the specialist service EACH can offer people to help them re-engage with training or entering the workforce when in recovery.

Many other local organisations took part in the event, to engage with and offer support for Brent residents, including;

  • MET Police
  • QPR
  • Air Sport
  • St Giles SOS
  • Safer London
  • NSPCC
  • London Fire Service
  • NWL College
  • Prospects
  • Jason Roberts Foundation

We look forward to working closely with Brent Council and our partner organisations in Operation PAX in the future!
